I found that these latest CCC drivers tend to effect my wireless network speeds (even ping). I have tried multiple wireless cards and they all show same problem. I currently use CCC from 2009, one i found that didn't effect network performance.

Summary

You can see the effect on the network by simply doing a ping of google. You should expect to see 80ms ping times, but with this driver I see ping times of 700ms. Using speed tester my internet connection drops to 1mbps. Using older CCC drivers it is 12mbps. Found this fact troubleshooting the network and popping into safemode which resolved the because video drivers did not load. Im running win7 x64 on Dell Studio XPS 8100 with ATI 5420 video card. I have tried multiple network cards from different wireless venders and the CCC driver seems to effect them all.

I have a big problem with this download, it massed up my ATI 9800 pro
my card is NOT working now,windows find problem with this download and would not allow to operate, I had to uninstalled the download now my PC is massed up.

AMD denies that this is their driver. They said that 10.2 from February 2010 was the last update. Can someone explain please?

I bought the new Acer Aspire 5538G and immediately tried to install Windows XP to get rid of bloated Windows 7 fatware. To my dismay this laptop is one of the new XP-proof laptops, you can't install Windows XP!!! The device is not identified.
