Software(drivers) for the CMI 8738 4CH sound card i want the softwares to operate the sound card above also having - Intel CMI 8738 6-Channel 5.1 question.

Method 1.
You need to install the sound card drivers from the sound card manufacturer's website for Windows 7. Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard disc will have Mac drivers which are not compatible with Windows 7. Contact the sound card manufacturer to obtain the Windows 7 Compatible drivers.

If you have the Realtek sound card on your Macbook then you need to download the drivers from the website below:
