It literally says '10/100BASE-T performance' which limits the connection to 100Mbps. If you are lucky enough to have higher bandwidth than that, buy the Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter. Either way, the device stopped working for us after updating to the newer OS. It now requires a 3rd party driver and that failed after a few days. Another quality product that we are forced to upgrade.

I'm trying to use it with my 2017 MacBook Pro through the USB-C adapter but it simply does not work. I called Apple and they told me it is compatible and they couldn't figure out what the problem is. They had to keep getting me to their supervisors and they simply told me they don't know and pointed me towards a new third-party adapter. This is just ridiculous. What happened to Apple making quality products?

Warning!
Important to note that this is only a 100Mbps device, not a 1Gbps device. It works as advertised, but honestly, it's obsolete and should be replaced.
