Hi,
A week or two ago, my computer randomly rebooted and a blue screen came up. This is what the blue screen said:
'A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
The problem seems to be caused by the following file: cmaudio.sys.
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.
If the problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.
Technical Information:

Anyway, it happened once so I let it slide.. but now it has happened probably four times? About a month ago, I got another gig of ram put in (making it 2) and I had the sound disabled in my motherboard and a sound card put it. Do I have to reintall the sound drivers? I have a CD for the sound card (Cobra AW-850 sound card.. 6 channel PCI Audio) but I'm not quite sure how to uninstall the drivers to begin.
I run Windows XP home. My processor is 3.0 ghz and my main harddrive is 126gb and my other one is 22gb.
Thanks in advance.
